Salutations:
Actually - your BPC should not buzz after the ignition is shut off, but occasionally I think your DI does to clean itself. Is your fan is trying to run and not getting anywhere?
As to increasing boost pressures without penalty - where have you cut in the boost pressure gauge? Perhaps you are leaking some pressure somewhere?
I though the Trionic system cut out at 15psi unless otherwise modified - however that may be on earlier ECU's rather than later models or completely wrong in the first place.
If you test the BPC across pin #1-2 and #2-3 with the loom off - it should read around 3ohms resistance on each set. If otherwise, you may have a problem.
If your BPC is cooked after all - I'm hunting for dead ones to do some bench testing and will paypal postage to my desk if you are willing to part with it.
