Michael Deschenes works at George's Imports Ltd. Kansas City's exclusive SAAB dealer since 1976. Michael works in the parts department, he is 21 and single. He drives the #86 SAAB for Shadow Lou Racing. Shadow Lou was my daughters racing nickname. She also raced SAAB's until she lost her battle with cancer in 1999.
We race asphault circle track. Our home track is I70 Speedway (http://www.i70speedway.net) The track is a 1/2 mile highbank oval, 30 degree banking. The new car is a 1986 900 2dr. We run the 2.0 eight valve engine as the rules give us a weight break for eight valve over a 16 valve
If you do a search for race car pictures you should be able to find pictures on the car on this sight. Other pictures can be found on http://www.picturemeracing.com go to view pictures, I70 and then the dash class.
The racing we do is true wheel to wheel no quater give racing. We will race at least 26 times this summer.
