shawn, check my sclassified ad on saabnet. i have a great intercooler for you, will bolt right into the stock location, and will provide you a nice increase in flow and power. you will hear and feel the difference in power.
it is a group 9 unit. check out their website if you want to read about it. it should be perfect for what you're trying to do. i used it for very minimal miles, maybe less than1,000. i have pics looking into the inside, and you can see it is spotless inside (and out). all like brand new with stainless piping and clamps and poly connectors - all you need to do is remove the old and install the new. no mods needed. about 3x the flow of stock (~525 cfm)
Here's what G9 says
"This 525 CFM intercooler supports up to 350 H.P. and offers significant improvements in power for the stock 900 and dramatic improvements in horse power for the modified cars. This intercooler is being offered for the introductory price of $595 without ducting and $749 as a complete kit."
I'm selling mine much cheaper, and it is the complete kit.
I know Jak Stoll has some that he fabricates also.
