well some folks noted that 1500 or 2000 with auto-rx, then drain the stuff and do the 2000 rinse phase. perhaps, your car is clean to begin with. I am in my rinse phase right now. the oil from my cleaning phase was black. in my case, i do a lot of city driving so i may be comparing apples with oranges. also, i could be wrong, the sludge stuff seem to happen to cars in colder climates and a lot of short trips. in the ng900 bb, michel_in_mtl reported sludge, after pulling the vc, even though he uses synthetic; however, he does a lot of city driving. im my case, i decided to use auto-rx to clean the engine since i got the car used and don't have a complete maintenance history. i checked the oil today. noticed that it was kind of "dirty." perhaps, that's the oil with auto-rx that was left in the oil cooler. at any rate, i'll dump two quarts and see how that goes. good luck!
