Hi, serious question, nobody seems to be able to give a definitive answer... I have a 1993 classic 900 turbo and it is time to get a new distributor. Bosch makes two kinds: one for the standard turbo model and another one for the spg/aero model. As I've already pushed horsepower past 200 with all the performance mods I've added, should I replace my stock turbo model distributor with the one that originally came on the SPG? I think the catalog mentioned something about the "185 horsepower" model 900, but I think they were implying that THAT WAS the spg model, one-in-the-same as it were. What would be the benefit (or harm!) in installing the spg distributor instead of the regular stock turbo one? They cost nearly the same. Another very Important part of the question; would I have to also replace the stock alternator with the "spg" model alternator and the stock ecu with the "spg" model ecu? Please help resolve this issue. Thank you much!
