Anyone put a Aero Turbo in A LPT?

I have a 9^5 2.3 LPT with a blown engine due to sludge. I dont think the turbo is gone yet, but figure with low oil pressure throught the engine, it would be a good thing to replace.

I am replacing engine with a 2001 out of an AERO (dont think the actual engine matters after 2001) and debating whether to put the LPT in it, or just go up to the AERO turbo and put an AERO ECU in it to match.

Are the exhausts different between LPT and AERO? Would an AERO turbo bolt right up?

Anyone know how to handle different oil and cooling lines to the turbo? Are the connectors just different on the turbo side or on both the engine and turbo? (can I just get lines off of a junk Aero and have them attach to my LPT setup?


Do you think the factory clutch that came with the LPT can handle the extra horsepower? (I really dont want to spring for a new clutch if I dont have too)

Does the LPT turbo have a wastegate and actuator? Are they the same for the AERO?

Does the LPT have an APC like the AERO? Are they compatible?

Im doing this "on the cheap" so it all involves junkyard parts. I will be perfectly happy with something close to Aero engine performance

Oh, and if anyone has any 2002+ Aero anti-sway bars, I want um!
