The 3" DP is a win win situation. Lower EGT's, quicker turbo spool up and my car with the MP unit was a easy direct bolt-on with no O2 sensor isssues, no cutting everything goes back like factory. Now for performance my car on the dyno picked up 18hp at peak and in some areas 22hp. The torque was also improved 11 lb ft peak and 18-20 lb ft in the range the turbo is efficent. My car already had the Powerchip software.
I also have the MP Performance Intercooler which is a much more effective unit at reducing heat soak. I now notice you can run the car in boost and not have power taper off due to het soak. On cooler damp mornings or nights care and full concentration is required the power come on stronger.
Since I live in hot environment 95-105 def F during the summer performance on these days is like cold mornings with stock intercooler. Another win win if you consider upgrading the Viggen due to heat and weak pistons.
