the TD04 will need to be a saab unit or at least the turbine housing will
on the NG900 & 9-3 its best not to use a slip on turbo inlet with a 90* hose down there because the hose ends up 1/2 shut to beginn with & then when the turbo is realy sucking it can colapse the hose & act like fuel cut so try to use a solid elbow there one way or the other
I have modded T7 cobra pipes for a couple of folks using the viggen turbo to deal with that
with the TD04 you will need to deal with the coolant & oil feed lines a bit & there are a few ways to skinn that cat some doublewasher the smaller mitsu banjo bolts with th larger garret lines (tis is a bit hack but works) there are other methods as well
the GT turbos wont fit withuot modding the manifold as he housings are so big that they hit the block & th turbo inlet flange wont line up so shaving the head flange on th manifold to move the turbo outward should do
I know one guy who is running 2 gaskets at the head (not a good idea in my opinion)
I run a T25/T28 hybrid which is a bit biger than a TD0418T & suports just over 300HP still within its efficiency range & is a direct bolt on
so there is a bit & Im sure others will pipe in too :-)
take care
