I'm defanatly considering the swap after having this car for 2 years i absolutly hate the long 1,2,3 gears especially how far away they are spaced, also in traffic the car bucks with anything less then 10mph so i have to engage the clutch. I know that the 9k Aero has 3.6 final gear ration and n/a is 4.5. I know my gas milege will suffer, traction will be somewhat a problem. I had same problem with my 87' 9k it had 4.5 gears damn that was a lot nicer and closer spaced transmission.
The most important thing to me is how close the gears are spaced. In my aero the 1-2 shift is horrible the car looses a lot when shifting 1-2 and 2-3, 3-4 shift is nice and how it should be but i do a little street racing here and there and most races happend from 30mph up on the street. NOt 65mph up where other cars are in 4th and cant shift to 5th to keep up.

Anyways do you guys know if the trans is the same? I think it is but i wasnt 100 precent positive.
