This question has been brought up before, but I think it's worth talking about since I've seen a lot of people in the tuning community (a lot of honda kids included) putting air/fuel meters in their cars. On a stock 02 sensor, the only thing an air/fuel gauge is good for is a 'wicked' light show, as the LED's will just blink back and forth constantly. I was about to get one, but luckily I was talked out of it, and I'm thankful for that! The best way to go is pick up a nice wideband 02 sensor and gauge so you can measure the exact ratio. It's a little expensive, but if you want to get serious about your fueling its a must.
As far as 24# injectors, these are barely more than stock, and I know I had pretty good success with these and just a fixed rate 3.0bar fpr (could hold 15psi pretty steadily on 93 octane). Your best option in terms of fueling with either 2.2 or 2.4 is to get your map done by Jak, because the root of the problem is the Bosch jetronic system, not the mechanical setup. If you tune that rrfpr properly then it will work really well, but you will have a bit of a rich spot between 3-4k rpm (correct me if Im wrong).
Forgive the long response, but you're at the same point I am, wondering about the 'next step' in performance (now that the easy/cheap modifications are done anyway!). Good luck!
