Ive had bogicourds fail in a year & they are pretty good wires
you should be running a bosch cap[ & rotor & NGK BP7ES I believe thats te rite #
check that all the wires are seated fully into the coil & the cap
ignition misfires are more likeley to happen under a load to beginn with & then can get worse till its at an idle
the shudder you mention sounds like an ignition misfire although Ive had a sliping clutch shudder a bit & you could definatly be having something else going on
pull your plugs & look at the porcelin insulators for carbon tracking as well as inspecting all other parts for carbon tracks or signs of leakage
check your fuel filter too
