Hello. As a fellow auto enthusiast, I wanted to get this out there as it is a shame to see a car like this go to waste. I was in the Roosevelt Pick n Pull in San Antonio today and came across a Sonnett sitting there. I'm not a SAAB man but I've seen just a few of these and know they are rare. I would say this one is about 60-70 or more complete. It is missing the hood, the two left wheels, the quarter windows I think and the air cleaner. From what I could see though it looked like the rest was there. The body appeared to be good, didn't see any cracks. The engine and transmission was stilling place and looked to be pretty much complete. It looked like most if not all of the interior was there. It wasn't in the best of shape but it was there. It didn't really look like it had been pilfered very much. Most people don't have any idea of what it is. It looked to me like this would make someone a good project car or at least a good parts car. I don't know what their policy is on selling complete cars but I'm sure that something could be worked out on a car like this.
The car is in the Roosevelt U Pull It in San Antonio, TX. The address is 10606 S US Highway 281
San Antonio, TX 78214
and the phone number is (210) 627-9900
Hopefully someone can save this little fella.
