If your Sonett has the big bumpers, use long black plastic ties. Loop it around the bumper and through the license plate in each of the four corners. The black ties probably won't be noticeable.
ON another subject, I am curious about your manual choke and how you made it and how it attaches and how it functions. I also replaced the auto choke on the FOMOCO carburetor with a manual one. Perhaps you can upload a photo. A photo of my simple manual choke set up is attached here. It works fairly well but I may re-route the cable.
