Mine only has one switch. In your picture it would be the bottom one. But mine has the push button on the top side of the switch which would mean yours could be upside down. Also, my push button lines up with the a protruding bulge on the door. So when the door closes, the bulge pushes the button on the switch. Since yours could be upside down, the bulge might not be striking the button on the switch. My bulge also a grove where button has been wearing over the years. So thanks to your post, it now has a dab of grease on it.
If you push the button with your finger, and the buzzer quits, it might prove my theory.
Also, the attached might show where the buzzer is. It looks like it is under the dash between the headlight pull and the hood release. It looks like the number 2 in the picture.
