Steve, which Yokohamas do you use? I did a search at Tire Rack for 185-65x15 and only came up with six tires in the 'High Performance' category or better -- the Yoko Avid H4, one Firestone, one Dunlop, two Bridgestones and a Sumitomo. Are you running the Avid, or an older Yokohama tire (such as the AVS Intermediate that's no longer available in this size?)

I'm concerned about this because I've had a lot of trouble finding performance-oriented tires that fit, either on the stock soccerball rims or on the 15x6 rims I had made up (to Jack Ashcraft's specs) at Willamette Wheel before they went out of business. I've tried 195-60x15s on the 15x6 rims and they BARELY fit at the front but definitely rub on the inside of the wheel arches at the back, even with nobody in the car.

I'm concerned that 185s in general might not be skinnier enough to solve the problem -- there seems to be a big variation in maximum width even with different-brand tires of the same size, so I'd rather get a specific tire that somebody else already knows for sure will fit.
