Does anyone know the whereabouts of 1967 Saab Sonett II S/n 146? Ibbought this Sonett new and sold it around 1978 to an individual from New England. I was going through a divorce at the time, and ndeded the money. It was white, with the newer "soccer ball" style wheels. When I had it, I had to replace the outer and inner rocker panels (with end-caps) due to rust, and I also replaced the carpet and interior with the exception of the seats. The new carpet was black, and (I'm ashamed to say...) the original grey velour fabric was replaced with a gawd-awful orange colored naugahyde. If anyone knows the whereabouts of this vehicle, I'd love to contact the current owner to reminisce. I've just bought a 1974 Sonett III with under 40K original miles on it, and I'm getting it back into shape, as it hasn't been run for a while. Thanks!
