185-60s will fit some cars but not others, so check first. I found that they wouldn't work on my car -- inside of tire on one side rubbed on trailing arm end. Fortunately, the tire store let me try before buying.

The other thing you probably should do up front is check your stock suspension components. If you've got tired shocks or saggy springs (common Sonett problem) you won't have a good handling baseline from which to improve. When everything is up to spec, I think the Sonett's handling is pretty well optimized for general street and road driving -- it's probably about as good as you can get for a front-heavy, front-drive car on skinny tires.

That means further improvements are mostly a matter of compromise: to get an improvement in one area, you have to give up something in another area, so you need to decide what will work best based on how you like to use the car.

For example, you can get better transient (back-and-forth) response by lowering the car, which you can do by installing shorter springs from MSS -- but that will cut down your ground clearance, which might be a problem depending on where/how you drive.

I'd say the best way to start would be to get your new tires on (assuming they fit), drive the car that way for a while, and analyze what specific handling problems you'd like to solve, then proceed from there.
