...I really need to grind some of my joints down. Rust in the rockers was no where nearly as bad as I envisioned. Just a small limited section that only involves the area that is welded to the floors and does not reach anywhere near the lateral aspect of the rocker. Still, I really need to learn how to hammer weld to keep my joints thin. Fortunately everything is under my seats, so I only need to body work the underside of the car. I am considering cutting several 2 inch holes in the thin metal overlying the rockers in the interior of the car. This will be to allow for evaporation, and to allow me to suction out the dirt and spray in rust killer.

As far as mechanical, I need to change my tranny fluid, but everything else seems super solid, (at the moment). I am awaiting The Continuum to strike at any moment now.

As far as your car, I would consider brazing the radiator. If that doesn't work I expect a rad is only 100 bucks. I also read in the old posts that Saab 99 radiators can be modified to fit the Sonetts. While you are there, consider getting electric pusher fans and eliminating the belt driven fan. I am adding A/C to my car, so I might go puller rather than pusher fans.
