A deer ran into mycar (yes, that's correct - I was traveling up a 2 lane road, bambiran across the road, in front of an oncoming car traveling in the oppositedirection, which missed it, but it did not make it past mine, notthrough any lack of evasion on my part, it just happened too fast.)Anyway, the driver-side headlight, fender and the bumper cover werecrushed, the front of the hood crumpled and the hood shifted around to theright, so you can't open the passenger door. No mechanical damage, fortunately.Anyway, after 3 estimates, I chose a shop that gives lifetime warrantyand had repaired my sibling's Volvo wagon, which had a deer dive onto thehood last November. What I'd like to know is should I look for particular quirks/aspects of theSaab to ensure I won't have problems later, prior to paying for therepairs? FYI, the repairs (new hood, fender, lights, paint) are about$2700 (all covered by Allstate.)Also FYI, there were 3 of us in the car - it happened so fast we didn'tfeel a thing - I'd buy the car again tomorrow, based on this fact.Matt Kaufman x6405attunix!mattkmattkno39sdcx6spamx782attunix.att.comor some such.
