The only cure is toreplace the rack, and I think he said this was about $800 to have done.(He has ~120K on his 900 and has been talking about getting the fix donefor the last 40K...)The later models have improved seals and the premature wear is not a problem. This is hearsay - I haven't checked into this myself![Re: Gas Fill]Yes, and not just with SAABs these days. I find that if I turn the gas pumpnozzle 90 degress so it is horizontal, I can blast the gas in (butthis requires holding on to the handle).-- %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% % Andy Cassino % % uucp: hplabs!hplsla!andyc domain: andyc%hplslano39sdcx6spamx782hplabs.hp.com % % Hewlett-Packard Lake Stevens Instrument Division % % 8600 Soper Hill Road Everett, WA 98205-1298 % % (206) 335-2211 % %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Posts in this Thread:
