Yesterday, when I pulled on thelever to lower the rear seatback (the lever's on the passenger side, the sidedealer had told me to pull on exclusively), I heard a loud 'Snap!' andthe seat didn't go down, but the lever now pivots easily back and forth. Ican lower the seatback using the lever on driver side, but probably I wantto have the lever repaired/replaced. Is this something one can easily accomplishby him/herself? Given the grief I get from the dealership (not my fault I'vehad the same piece of interior moulding replaced 3 times, going on 4, andif they can't tune it so it won't stall on startup 3 days out of 4, well,I'll keep bringing it back) I'm expecting them to try to weasel out ofcovering this under the warranty, and I'd like to understand what's involvedin replacing it myself rather than forking over big $$ to the dealer. Thanksin advance.Matt Kaufman attunix!mattk Posts in this Thread:
