Sagging Headliner & Hard Leather Seats
Posted by Ramon Veloso (more from Ramon Veloso) on Fri, 9 Jul 1999 10:41:07
A couple of questions for my fellow Saabers.
First, does anyone have any suggestions on how to repair a sagging headliner? The headliner on the left-rear-passenger side of my 89 9000 Turbo is sagging, and I want to know how to repair it before it gets any worse. About how much would it cost to replace the headliner if it is unrepairable?
Second, my leather seats are quite hard, I assume from years of over exposure to the sun. The driver's side is cracked or cracking, the front passenger side is hardended, and the rear seats are softer than the front seats but still harder than say five years ago. What can I do to regain their suppleness and prevent any more damage?
Thanks in advance, Ramon Cornejo Veloso 89 9000 Turbo with 149,000 miles
