Replace / troubleshoot climate control

Hello:
I need help with the climate control of an 89 9000s. Just recently
the thing quit working, i.e. the defroster, the vents, air, heater,
everythign just died. there still is power to some parts of the
computer though, because some of the switches still light up, but not
much else works. Is there any troubleshooting i can do on it to
determine if a new one is required or if there is a short/open
somewhere in the electrical? If these things need replaced, how much
are they?
