rear brake problem - the continuing saga
Posted by Scott Barrie (more from Scott Barrie) on Thu, 14 Dec 2000 14:41:26
Hi all:
A couple of weeks ago I wrote in about a brake problem on my '90 9000S. Well, the drama continues to unfold. There is now a nerve-wracking grinding/vibrating type sound coming from the rear left. It only happens at low speeds, and if I feather the brake pedal it disappears. A mechanic friend has tried a variety of fixes such as making sure the area is totally free of rust, chamfering the leading edge of the pads, etc. All to no avail.
Does anyone out there have any ideas.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts/help.
Cheers
Scott Barrie
