I've had 205/60s on my '82 and '83 900Ts at various times in the past. I don't remember the brands. Some worked, others didn't.
The problem is the allowed variation in actual tire size for the stated size. A 'small' 205 works without interference, but a 'large' 205 will hit the fenderwell, spring, or other suspension component under varying conditions.
Since you cannot know whether a particular set of tires will be at the large or small end of the tolerance, it's not worth the risk to me. Use the 195/60, and get a good tire. --------------------- John R. Weiss
