Air filter housing removal
Posted by Pergatory (more from Pergatory) on Tue, 27 Mar 2001 19:28:56
I've got a 1992 9000 Turbo, and I just bought a K&N filter kit from Swedish Dynamics. What they failed to mention is that in order to install the filter, I must remove the stock air filter housing from inside the fender. From what I can tell, the only way to do this involves removing the front driver-side body panel and pulling the housing out from that side. Does anyone know of an easier way to do this? Regardless, does anyone have a detailed procedure on how to do this or any personal experience doing this themselves?
Thanks, Alex
