Not at all high for a Saab. However, there are a lot of what I call '100K miles parts', ones that expire after 100K miles and make the areas of 100K and 200K miles an expensive time to own one. Things like the direct ingition cassette, or an automatic transmission if it's a 9000 turbo. If it's been taken good care of and continues to be, and isn't abused, you can count on at least 250K miles from the engine. Refer to the 'high mileage' page on www.saabnet.com to see how long some of them are lasting (it's only a tiny fraction of them that actually end up on that list, though). My '91 9000T required a top-end rebuild at about 110K to fix an oil-burning problem, which cost about $700 (but that was in Maine -- it would have been more if I wasn't in the New England area). I have heard this is also something that tends to be needed after 100K on these engines (2.3l turbo). For the record, Saabs have long had a reputation for 'lasting forever'.
Hope this helps -Derek Shaffer '91 9000T 135K
