We have an '86 900 Turbo, and our air conditioning system is
broken so we don't use it (a misting spray bottle with windows
down works wonders to cool you off!!). Granted, the car's much
older than yours, but our fan comes on after we park the car,
too. In warmer weather, it will turn on for a bit even if the
car's not overheated; it does not happen EVERY time, however.
