if the rust is only the trunk area, then the low side of the range would be
reasonable.  However, the rust is probably more extensive.  Check the entire
pan and the rockers - bottoms and ends in the wheelwells.  Sagging headliner
is not to hard to fix.

What do you want in this car?  ie project, immediate driver, concours winner.
How much can you do yourself?  Look over the body carefully for stars or
small cracks.  Rust is the largest problem you will have with these.

If you can do the work and it makes you happy to look at the car now, then
get it and enjoy it.  They are tons of fun.

I bought my 72 SIII from the original owner way back in '85 or '86.  I sold
the car, regretted it immediately, and bought it back several years later for
more money.  Duh! However, it still makes my heart quicken when I look at it
even to this day.
