Starting problems '97 900SE [saabnow]
Posted by The Saab Network (more from The Saab Network) on Mon, 4 Feb 2002 15:04:14
Message from Jeffrey M. Simon Subject: Starting problems '97 900SE ================= I have a '97 900SE convertible with 44,000mi. The last time I was at the dealer, they said that my battery failed a test. It cranks fine as far as I'm concerned, but I'll be buying a new diehard when I get around to it.
Anyway, lately it has been taking longer for the car to start. The starter cranks just fine and it starts, but it seems to crank for much longer lately. Any chance that it has something to do with the battery? The starter turns fine (not slow).
Any ideas?
Jeff Simon
