Subject: Re: 88 9000 ================= Hi, The window switches should be lit, and your ACC probably does have a burned out bulb. Unfortunately, you will find that many of the dashboard lights are not easy to replace. Some are socketed, but it seems like the ones that always burn out are the super tiny ones that are soldered in place. I have not taken my ACC unit apart, so I don't know if those are soldered in or not. I have had the window switch console apart, and although I'm afraid I do not remember if those were soldered in either, it's fairly simple to remove and disassemble. Pull back the gearshift boot cover (this is assuming a manual transmission; it's probably a similar method for an automatic) and then you can reach down under the window switch unit with a finger or two and push it out from beneath. The unit is not cheap, so if you have to solder, consider first whether it's worth risking damage it if the soldering doesn't go well.
Good luck, -Derek Shaffer '91 9000T 5sp 160K
