Windshield defect? [saabnow]

Subject: Windshield defect? ================= I recently purchased a 2004 ARC 9-5 (and WOW is it a nice ride! ;-)
I noticed that it appears to have a defect in the windshield (or perhaps is it just that I'm picky?). I have an appointment with the Service Department on Thursday to have it checked out. Has anybody else seen this?
It looks like the bottom 1' of the windshield is 'magnifying'. When you are driving on the interstate, in the right most lane (with the solid white stripe on the road to your right), it looks like the white line is actually 'bending' almost 90 degrees toward the driver (but only at the bottom 1' - 2' of the windshield).
I assume that it's a defect in the glass?
That said, the car may need new glass, but otherwise 'don't even try to take it away from me' ;-) It's fantastic!
Thanks! -dennis-
