Trailer hitch for 1993 900 - easy or no?
Posted by Boylan13 (more from Boylan13) on Thu, 9 Sep 1999 09:10:09
Hey, folks,

Being the proud owner of a new (to me) boat and the requisite trailer, I am
in need of a trailer hitch for my 1993 Saab 900 Turbo (hatchback). Is this a
job I could do myself considering the deepest I get in DIY maintenance is the
occasional oil and air filter changes, repair of radiator hoses, and
installation of my own radio and speakers? Is is a simple bolt-on job?
Also, where can I buy the hitch itself, preferably at a discount? Any
recommendations? Is there a specific wiring harness that I will need as
well, or will I be OK just splicing into the existing wires for brakes and
taillights?

Any tips on installation and source for the parts would be most appreciated.

Thanks!

Later,

Chris
