This goes for body work too.

What is wrong with the V6?

The 94's had a pulley replaced under a recall I think, but other
than that with normal maintenance at the _correct_ intervals they
are fine. Changing the spark plugs is a pain but it is no
worse than say, doing a fan belt on an classic 900.

All of the V6 engine failures I have heard of have been
thrashed high mileage cars that didn't get their cambelts
changed at the right time. (anecdotal evidence from three
different dealers).
