Err message
Posted by Scott Barrie (more from Scott Barrie) on Thu, 24 Jun 1999 09:59:20
My 1990 9000S quit on me in traffic the other day. Everything was closed for the weekend except for a local mechanic who has no experience working on Saabs. We determined that the fuel pump was toast and he put in a new one (and changed the filter at the same time).
Now the car runs fine, but every time you start it there's an 'Err' message. If you cycle through the 'Info' button the message disappears and doesn't come back until you start the car again. Any ideas what it might be?
We've tried disconnecting/reconnecting the battery but it doesn't help.
Thanks
Scott Barrie
