Typically around 40 U.S. Dollars. Your car has four although the lowers often wear out before the uppers. Not too bad of a job with the right wrenches, if you're throwing away the old ball joints you can use a pickle fork to pry them out of the steering knuckle. Those that hate pickle forks claim wacking the sides of the steering knuckle with two heavy hammers will pop the old ball joints out though I haven't tried that.

Yes and the new ball joints didn't entirely solve the clunking, but once I also replaced the outter control arm bushings, all was silent again...
