Engine mountings should produce more movement thus noise the moment the engine starts pulling (or if auto when it is put in gear) and so on.
You have to come back with more info. Try to listen for noises with the hood open (car stationary). If noise is only apparent when the car is in motion then ... different problems.
If your chain is worn you are most likely to hear it with the car stationary, hood open and rev it high and listen for noise on decelaration (a bad chain will start slapping).
If noises are only apparent under load then (possibly bad news) engine bearings may have problems.
On the good side of things you may just have overinflated tyres.
