Drain holes

Following on from an earlier posting , I have , with the help of people on this forum , found why the water is getting into the rear passenger footwell of the car. It was getting into the rear panel of the car and not draining away causing it to seep into the interior of the car. I raised the roof half way and shone a torch (flashlight for our US friends) down the inside of the body and could see the water sitting there. What I cannot find is where the water it meant to run away. I have looked under the car but cannot see any drainage pipes.
My question .....
Do I need to remove the black side body mouldings to find the drain holes ? If so , is the moulding easily removable as the Haynes manual states there is some tape on them ?
Thanks
Spencer
