emissions results
Posted by Jack Brooks (more from Jack Brooks) on Mon, 13 Dec 1999 10:28:46
I just brought my 1988 9000S though NJ emissions (just a week before the NJ dynamometer checks started) and am curious how the numbers compare to what others have seen with their older Saabs. I believe the numbers are good for an 11 year old, 162,000 mile, car that has had nothing but regularly scheduled maintenance.
BTW - it is completely stock, running the four electrode Bosch platinum plugs.
Hydrocarbons CO CO2
I always ask for and record the emissions numbers for my modified 1960 Triumph TR3A engine, as I want to keep track of what modifications do to the emissions, but have no clue how my Saab compares to other cars.
Thanks,
