I replaced the door fabric on our SPG a few years ago. From what I remember you
just need to remove the single screw that holds the door release cover in place.
You can then side the cover out and remove the fabric-covered panel. I stripped
the fabric/foam from the panel and then used 3M spray adhesive to attach some
new material, taking care to wrap the corners neatly. The material I used was
for auto headliners and was fabric backed by foam. I found this at a local
fabric shop. Turned out very nice.

BTW, interesting to see you have both a Saab and a Ducati, I've had 3 Saabs and
2 Ducatis over the years, currently have a 9-5 wagon and an ST2.
