Keep your eye on one thing: the net cost to you. It doesn't much matter what the deal is, as long as the price is the best you can get. Paying list and getting a big trade-in or very low interest rate may be better than getting a "discount" from list and a so-so trade-in or sky-high interest rate. Run the numbers before buying.
