Everybody is entitled to their opinion. I owned an 83 900T for over 13 years and 251,00 miles, an 87 900S for 2 years and 36,000 miles and now I have an 87 9000S. I am not saying I'll never drive another 900 model, but you will have to pry my cold dead fingers from the steering wheel of my 9000. I have fallen in love with the ride and feel of the 9000. It is a different animal. I have to keep a closer eye on my speedo. The same rpm in the 87 900S and 87 9000S gives you different speeds. The 9000 is faster. The transverse mounted engine and different gears make a big difference. I test drove a 94 900 non-turbo. With the transverse mount engine it felt as quick as my 83 900T. But I still love the 9000 5 spd. You couldn't pay me to own an automatic. Ken Washington 87 9000S
