Subject: Synth. oil



Hello:

I realize the topic is not new, but: Is it worth using synthetic oil in
my Saab 900 SE Turbo'97? The car has got about 10,000mi, so it is broken
in enough for a syntetic, but is it worth doing it and what are the
possible implications? 

Also, I tend to change regular oil on my other car every 5,000mi. Will
syntetic allow longer oil change intervals.
