Top gear ran tests on the brake performance of many current cars across all ranges of cost. The results may surprise some. Off road 4x4 such as land rovers have crap brake performance (not surprising), the outgoing Ford Escort also scored very badly (not surprising to me at least), and the best car in the world for brake performance? the Mazda Rx7. This I can actually believe. Ask anyone who owns or has driven an mx5, superb brakes. Other cars with good brake performance where small cars like the peugout 106. -----------== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==---------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own
