I presume the discussion concerns the cabin air temperature sensor and the small fan that draws air over the sensor. Here are some of my experiences with it: The front 'dust cap' pulls off from the front. If you look in, you should see a small, glass-encased sensor (it may be covered with fuzz & dust - gently clean to remove the dust), and behind that is the fan. After you remove the dust cap, the remainder of the sensor assembly has to be removed from the rear of the dash (through the ACC hole when you pull the ACC forward out of the dash; don't disconnect the ACC cable since it's not necessary to do so). If it's just accumulated dust etc on the fan, you may be able to gently clean it with a can of 'Dust-Off' or similar compressed air. The fan is powered by a small, brushless DC motor.
