My '87 turbo speed indication will suddenly jump up 10 or more miles per hour and then slowly settle back in a few seconds. It jumps up frequently, with no particular frequency. While it is "jumped up" there is a slight noise coming from near the front left speaker, like a bad bearing would sound. The needle also bounces around while it is doing this. Is this an indication of pending speedometer cable failure, or something else? Tom
