My '87 900 has been making noises on the front left like something is coming loose. It also isn't rolling as smoothly as it should. It feels a little jerky. I thought it was the CV joints but took it to Firestone and they said the CVs, tie-rods, and rack and pinion all looked tight and normal. They did say that there is a bearing that connects the axle to the transmission and suggested I take it to the dealer. Does anyone have a similar experience they can tell me about?
