I have a -92 9000 CS 2.3T (4-cyl turbo) - goes like a rocket in steep hills, no matter the speed. Not many cars can match my CS in that respect... Even though the engine is de-duned due to the automatic it still performs 300Nm from 2000 to 6000 rpm. You'd have to go for V8s for figures like that but then you would also add _some_ extra pounds or pay for a BMW or M-B.
