I had a small repair shop replace my transmission with a rebuilt unit for $1700. This is a shop that works mostly on saabs. I think they charged me about $900 for the tranny and the rest was labor. Call around to some other repair shops, the dealer is going to be very inflated. Good luck, Kirk Sweeney wrote: > A dealer qouted me about 3000 on a new (rebuilt) transmition for my 88 > manual 900 win 132,000 miles on it including installation (1800 part).
