The weak point of this engine is that the 2 DOHC are belt-carried (no >chain, such as Saab 2.0 and 2.3 engines). The belt has to be changed every >35,000 miles. Other questions (not being all that up to date on engine terminology...): the timing belt and the serpentine belt are two different belts? If so how do I look at the timing belt to determine wear?
